The PLI unit is not just an LED display, but it is a complete self-consistent units.
In addition to having a LED matrix for the numerical indication to 3 digits and a red / green traffic light integrated, also it encloses a CPU for counting the incoming and outgoing vehicles coming from the loop detector and also permits the driving of a barrier when the area is in saturation.
